The impetus for global learning stems, in part, from the reality that the world has become increasingly more interconnected. Globalization, the integration of economic, political, and other systems and the movement of peoples and goods across national boundaries, has led to a greater awareness of people and places beyond local borders. In this course you will explore this interconnectedness that is apparent in all aspects of our lives, from the products we consume to the people with whom we interact, and has implications for the type of work our students will do in the future.
